The Cappucino Maker Everyone Wants

This *is* technology. I think this may be the fun gadget everyone wants for the department... latte's or cappucino with (literally), the touch of a button. The milk container sits in the fridge. When you are ready, you get out a cup, put in a coffee pod, put in the milk container and hit the button.   The bad news? It is $800. (Jeanne, are you reading this?)

Another one that isn't mentioned in the web site above, Color Tabs. It comes in handy if you have multiple tabs open in the Firefox window.

Twitter

We have been playing with Twitter in house for a couple of days. I had personally been avoiding Twitter, but I do know quite a few people on it from class including profs. On a personal level I still don't see my need to Twitter as high. However, in a recent article it's made me understand the value to academia from an instructor perspective. I probably would use it more if I had a phone with a keyboard. I am not that fast at texting, but I have a 13 year old who keeps me active with it. A new phone is on my to do lists.

AppleInsider | Steve Jobs pans Flash on the iPhone

Ouch! I hope that Adobe proves Jobs wrong. I think they ought to be working on that middle product. They have been strong advocates of mobile devices and i think it would be short sighted of them to just sit tight on Flash Lite.
